Bob Loomis Show Reiner Saddle
Bob Loomis, affectionately known as “Mr. Reiner”, is one of the best known and respected Reining Horse trainers in the nation. Bob has the most National Reining Horse Association Futurity victories since the inception of the event. He has literally rewritten the definition of the term “Reiner”. Bob requires special features in a Reining Saddle, including an Armor-Tex “Special Reiner” tree, hand carved Oak Leaf tooling, unique three-way rawhide and leather rigging for close contact with the horse, a narrow, comfortable seat and “leg channels” from the seat to the fenders.
Tree: Armor-Tex Saddlesmith ‘Loomis Reiner’
Seat: 15¹⁄₂" or 16"; toast colored suede
Cantle: 3¹⁄₂"; hand tooled
Horn: Short neck pleasure style; braided rawhide cover
Rigging: High performance close contact; all leather
and rawhide with no metal components; wraps
around horse’s sides for extremely close contact
Finish: Rich Pecan oil; hand carved Oak Leaf tooling
Trim: Hand engraved sterling silver; futurity tips
Stirrups: 2" bell style; matching tooling
