The sizes go by outseam. It is always best to measure him from his waist to the floor with his boots on. The large size has an outseam of 28" the medium is 26" and the small is 24".

My grandson has a 22 1/2" inseam and 9yrs old. What size should I order? I ordered chunks but that is not what he wants. They only go to his knees.

A:
It is very hard to suggest to someone a size because all kids are different sizes and shapes. But I can tell you the outseam and hopefully this will help. The small is appox 24" the medium 25" and the large 26".
